| | Hilary Duff was spotted leaving a Los Angeles home on April 10, holding a script (it seems that Hil is dipping her toes into the acting pool quite a bit lately, with guest parts on "Law and Order: SVU" and "Ghost Whisperer" in the bag). For Hils day-of-errands outfit, she started with a plain black tank (for a funky, detailed take on the basic tank, check out Qis Mesh Yoke Ribbed Tank in Black Cashmere) and black leggings with brown knee-high boots (like Matiko Footwears Scallop Boot in Brown), and carried along her favorite yellow Goyard tote (if youre diggin the hue of Hilarys bag, try Linea Pelles Dylan Medium Bowler Bag in Citrine) along for the day. Accessory wise, Hilary wore an oversized pair of silver hoops (I feel like the Duffster is ALWAYS wearing some sort of variation on these earrings - theyre like her trademark - and for a similar pair, try Michele Michel Jewelrys Garden Earrings in Silver) and tied a patterned scarf around her neck (try A Graves Dagger Print Italian Silk Scarf in Pink, or their Paisley Scarf in Grey for a similar look). What is your take on HDs outfit - simple, yes.. but cute? Lay it on me, readers! As I mentioned earlier, Hil has a part on the upcoming April 28 episode of "Law and Order: SVU," a part that she describes as "mysterious." Of her possible upcoming roles, Hilary says, "I would like to do something funny... or I would like to kick ass or something. [Id want to] be some kind of... not a superhero, but some young person thats empowering and that does something no one expects from her, like take care of problems." What do you think, does Hilary have the acting chops to tackle a variety of roles, or do you think shes a one trick pony?... |

| | Heidi Montag was seen posing on the hood of an Aston Martin while filming her new music video (AKA Spencer with a handheld camera) for her upcoming single "Look How Im Doing" outside of Crown Bar on Thursday night, April 9, in Hollywood. Check out the music video teaser here. Okay, I have so much to say about this I need to collect my thoughts. First, why does she continue to use Spencer and his handheld camera to film her "videos"?? Cant she hire a professional crew? Second, why does she continue to make these super amateur lipsynching music videos? I cant believe Im saying this, but I actually think I like the beat of this song, but her super computerized voice is just out of control. She needs to stop! Turn down the tacky cheesy factor and just take a step back. For her look for the evening, Heidi chose a LBD (similar to Cleo Brands Iris Dress in Black or Ingwa Meleros Sofia Dress in Jet Black) paired with CC Skyes Double Wrap Bracelet in Silver), black cutout stilletos, and a sparkly silver clutch (try Antoinette Lee Designs Vita Snake Clutch in Gold, or Posse New Yorks Natalie Clutch in Pearl White for a more subdued option). What are your thoughts on the outfit - yay or nay? While Im sure you are aware that Heidi and Spencer got "married" in Mexico a while back but decided not to make it legal once they were back in the US, the two are set to legally wed on April 25. Says a "source" (probably Spencer), "This will be the real wedding. Its being filmed as the season finale for The Hills. Heidi and Spencer were previously married during a ceremony in Mexico, but they never made it official here in the States." Of course theyre filming it for "The Hills" - no surprise there!
