OSTERIA OUTING March 12, 2009 at 1:25 am Christina Aguilera has been laying low focusing on her new album for the past few months, but she still managed to make time for a date night with hubby Jordan Bratman on March 6. Hitting up their favorite restaurant, Osteria Mozza in West Hollywood, the couple emerged looking pretty peeved with the pap presence. Or maybe just with each others presence? A couple of days earlier, Mamaguilera ended a lunch at Figaro Cafe in Los Feliz prematurely, storming off with baby Max on her hip with Jordan trailing after her yelling Wait! as she flip-flopped her way outta there. Is there trouble in paradise or did one too many camera flashes set Christina off? At least it looks like theyre trying to work things out over a nice dinner apart from their little one. For her dindin fit, Mamaguilera started with curve hugging grey skinnies (try Hudsons Carly Skinny Jean in Wharf) with black peep-toe heels and a loose graphic tee (like Signorellis Screened Logo Bubble Tunic in Multi). Bundling up in a blue leather jacket (check out the similar style of Amberlynns Zipper Bomber Jacket in Black) and a fringed blue scarf (like A Graves Baroque Floral Scarf in Blue), Christina topped off her look with a fedona and a slate blue bag (check out Carla Mancinis Whipstitch Double Handle Tote in Teal). Overall it seems like none of the layered items shes wearing go together but somehow, I like the way it all works. Maybe its the blue theme? What do you think of Mamaguileras look? It seems like shes toned down the fake-tan and tranny make-up quite a bit, but Im still not loving the pink lipstick. It looks different in the light and I dont think either shade is flattering -- can any of you pull off the muted Barbie pink shade?... For her casual, daytime outfit, B started with a blue polka dot top (while Im not a very big fan of polka dots in general, the wide, oversized look of Brits top is doing nothing for her figure - instead, opt for a chic cami, like Prairie New Yorks Bandeau Scoop Top in Inka) and micro-mini denim shorts (try James Jeans Ian Micro Short in Gangsta), along with a slouchy pair of black leather boots. While Britney was never strongest in the fashion department (to put it nicely), its nice to see her out and about and not in total hagatha mode. Her hair even looks freshly washed! Britney accessorized her look with a hot pink bag (take your pick of CC Skyes vibrant Lucy Bag in Hot Pink, which comes in a selection of eight candy-colored shades, or Carla Mancinis Foldover Bag with Rivets in Fuchsia), oversized round sunnies, and blue drop earrings (similar to Amy DiGregorios Channel Center Earrings in 14k Gold Filled - If U Seek Amy!). What are your thoughts on Bs look here - I mean, I know its not great, but keep in mind this is Britney were talking about! While Britney has been getting rave reviews for her "Circus" comeback tour, it seems that she is also getting great reviews from Gwen Stefanis little boy, Kingston! Gwen dishes, "Hes really into any music thats popular and hes really into Britneys songs... because she actually lives on my street and he goes over to her house. He thinks shes really great. And he flirts with her and stuff." Dare I say it... Kingston is a little womanizer!?...
