| NEW HAIR, NEW JOB?

| | Debuting a rejuvenated new look overseas, Katie Holmes looked positively radiant at the Tokyo premiere of Valkyrie on March 11. Doesnt it seem like Toms world press tour is never gonna end? First and foremost, Katies glossy new extensions are gorgeous. Love the side bangs and the added volume, and the new look couldnt have come at a better time -- lets face it, the bob was looking a little drab and dated. For the red carpet, Katie chose a colorblock dress by Jason Wu with a blazing red skirt and fuchsia geometric print bodice (try similarly dramatic looks like Black Halos Boatneck Sheath Dress with Hip Sash in Geranium, Deep Purple and Cranberry or Tricia Fixs Siva Mini Cocktail Dress in Radiant). Most of you probably find the color combo revolting, but I actually like the shock value -- if it wasnt paired with stirrup leggings. The dress is way too loud for tights -- let alone stirrups -- and the multicolored heels are too much. The heels are Rousseau by Jerome C. Rouseeau and are great separately, but together, what was she (or her stylist) thinking? At least she kept the accessories simple, adding just a hint of shine with a single gold bangle (go bold with CC Skyes Studio 54 Mesh Cuff in Gold). Im sure you all have your own take on this look -- does it work for her? Now that Katie has finished up the Broadway segment of her career, shes looking to add a new title to her resume: fashion designer. Doesnt seem like that big of a shocker considering the plethora or celebrity lines out there, but somehow it still surprises me a little that Katie is confident enough in her fashion sense to try her hand at designing. Katie recently chatted with Glamour about her inspiration to collaborate on a kids clothing line with a friend: My friend Jeanne Yang and I have been working together. Shes got twin girls about six years old, and we both grew up with mothers who sewed. We started about a year ago, sketching different things, trying to find comfortable clothing for our daughters that is also pretty and cute. Suri is known for her adorable little dresses, so I can only imagine the frilly looks Katies line would include. Do you think she has a shot at designing?... |

| | Hottie Megan Fox was spotted heading into the l.a. vie lorange hand + foot spa in Los Angeles on March 10, chatting with the paparazzi as she headed towards an afternoon of a little R and R. Keeping her look casual as always (Megan is definitely a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl), she started with a funky tie-dye t-shirt (for a more exotic option, check out Signorellis Zebra Signorelli Tee with Rhinestones in White, or for a great basic V, try P.G.D. Styles Morgan V-Neck Tee in Clay) and paired with vintage destroyed boot denim (like Pierce Jeans Justin Bootcut in San Diego) and wedges. The Fox kept her accessories simple, choosing a delicate necklace (similar to Amy DiGregorios Asbury Grove Necklace in 14k Gold Filled), classic Ray-Ban aviators, and holding on to her wallet (check out Carla Mancinis cool Medium Wallet in Anthracite, which also comes in three other shades) as she headed into her pampering sesh. It seems like ever since Megan announced that she has called it quits with Brian Austin Green (are they or arent they??), the paps are following her much more than before. Dont you think? While were still not sure in MF and BAG are still officially split, there are rumors circulating now that she has been talking to none other than Robert Pattinson, AKA Americas current obsession. Allegedly, the two were spotted getting cozy at West Hollywoods Palihouse Hotel, as a source says, "They met up at the bar. They were both drinking - Stella Artois for Rob, merlot for Megan. At first they were seated at a table, but then they switched it up and sat on a couch for maximum closeness. They were flirting, laughing and drinking." Verry interesting... what are your thoughts on this potential pair? I could definitely see them together!... |

| | Looking especially bright-eyed, Cameron Diaz headed out of her NYC apartment building on March 4. With coffee cup in hand, Cam was on her way over to NBC Studios to appear on buddy Jimmy Fallons brand new late night show. Cam arrived dressed in casual distressed jeans (like Denim of Virtues Patience Slim Boot 5 Pocket Jean in Destroyed), a cozy black coat (like Suzabelles Biella Wool Trench Coat in Black) and a thick black scarf. Cameron finished her look with comfy flat boots (like Matikos Scallop Boot in Brown), her favorite turquoise ring (try Rachel Leighs Enamel Ring in Blue) and an oversized leather tote (Im sure Cam would approve of Carla Mancinis Top Zipper Dome Bag in Chestnut). At the studio, Cam switched into a silky black jumpsuit with edgy black stilettos (love them!) before Jimmy Fallon challenged her to a dance off. Not only did Cammie D dominate, but she secured her win after finishing off a series of interpretive dance moves with: I got more moves than the Octo-mom got kids, so take that bi-atch! | | Hayden Panettiere took some time off filming Heroes and headed to Hawaii on May 7. HP arrived at the grand re-opening event of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in yet another questionably short, sleeveless mini dress paired with demure black patent pumps and a shiny black clutch (try Antoinette Lees Suede Vita Clutch in Black to add gold accents to basic black). The cut of this LBD is much more flattering than her recent options (check out CoutureCandys selections like Nabes Stitch Strap Dress in Black or Ingwa Meleros Charmeuse Sofia Dress in Black). Loving the flashy gold neckline! Dont you think the gathered panel at the front makes her look way slimmer than normal? She seems to be having a great time at the Hawaiian bash hanging out with celebs from Heather Graham, Justin Long and Days of Our Lives guy pal (or rebound?) Darin Brooks, but HP reportedly got in a little scuffle with the press at the event. According to Us Weekly, Hayden was feeling a little flustered by the photog presence and ordered everyone to back off as she made her entrance. When a female TV reporter tapped her on the shoulder and asked for an interview, HP lost it, screeching Dont you ever touch me! at the poor woman before turning to the rest of the press and snarling, Oh, am I supposed to do interviews? You all make my life miserable. Yowza! Tell us how you really feel, Hayden! Guess you cant blame her, since she did just break-up with her bf of more than a year, but rumor has it shes turned a bit nasty on the set. HP is throwing a fit and trying to get her co-star/ex Milo Ventimiglia kicked off the show: "She refuses to be on the set at the same time as him. She is making it difficult for everyone involved." Sounds like its time for this cheerleader to grow up!... |

| | For as young as she is, Taylor Swift has her hands full lately, hitting global hotspots including Toronto, London, and now Syndey, Australia. The Fearless singer arrived at the Sydney International Airport with her mama on March 11, dressed appropriately for the seasonal switch down under. Starting with an adorably girly pink dress (check out Letartes Pink Boho Dress in Pink Print) and tons of bangles (try Alex and Anis Peace Expandable Wire Bangle Set in Gold with CC Skyes Kenzie Lock Bracelet in Brown), Taylor wore her essential cowboy boots with a matching tan tote (like Rough Roses Kimberly Shopper Bag in Tan, and try tying your own scarf like A Graves Colt 45 Scarf in Pink). Love the natural blonde waves! The only thing I would change about this look is the frilly yellow bow on the dress. It looks like someone just tacked it on there and its distracting. What do you think of the look? Taylor ventured down under for her upcoming concert, but between press appearances and taking part in a radio show prank, she still found time to make an appearance on the red carpet of Zac Efrons premiere of 17 Again. Now you may or may not be a country music fan, but Taylor offered audiences everywhere a chance to see her guest star on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation last week. Did any of you tune in? Over 21 million viewers did! Fans will also have a chance to catch Taylor on the ACM Awards next month. The 19 year old is up for Top Female Vocalist, Album of the Year for Fearless and Video of the Year for Love Story.
