BACK TO THE BOB March 19, 2009 at 8:47 pm Somebody pinch Katie Holmes for not wearing green on St. Paddys day! The sleepy actress headed to Urth Cafe in Beverly Hills on March 17, grabbing a breakfast bite before dashing back to the car and getting on with her busy day. Check out her uber skinny jeans from behind -- whether or not you agree with Katies choices, she does have a great bod! Get the leggy look for yourself with Joes Jeans Cigarette Skinny Jean in Zoe. Playing it safe in a simple gray cardigan (try Signorellis Love Tree Button Cashmere Cardigan in Ash and check out the cute peace sign on the back) and a plain blue plaid scarf (try the unique print of A Graves Unicorn Scarf in Blue), Katie polished her look with chic black pumps and a super shiny ring on her right hand (take it to the next level with Erica Anenbergs Pewter Double Finger Ring in Silver). Its pretty low-key, but what would you wear for a quick coffee trip? Now that shes back in LA after finishing filming her small part in The Extra Man in New York, Katie has been relaxing and enjoying some extra time with Suri. Shes on the cover of Glamour mag this month and summed up the direction her life has taken in a few positive words: Thats where I am... I feel really, really lucky. And you know what? I feel the best response [to all those tabloid stories] is just going about my life: enjoying life, making movies, being a good mom and a good wife, and focusing on that. SHOWING OFF THE RING March 19, 2009 at 7:48 pm Rachel Bilson was spotted outside of her Los Feliz home on March 13, before being picked up and taken to The London Hotel in Beverly Hills to announce the Glow In The Dark programs second year, presented by Jergens and The Skin Cancer Foundation. In an intricately detailed navy and white 3.1 Phillip Lim dress (for options in a similar shade and without the hefty price tag, check out Woos Berta Dress in Navy or Ella Moss Luella Short Sleeve Ruffle Dress in Dream) under a blue velvet blazer (try Elizabeth Gillett Ltds cropped version, the Lydia Velvet Jacket in Blue), Bilson accessorized with gold heels and a grey tote (take your pick of Julie K Handbags Lizzie Mini Tote in Slate or Rough Roses Roxy Tote in Grey), finishing things off with a pair of standard Wayfarers. In addition to the outfit that she chose to attend the Glow In The Dark event, Rachel also donned the sparkling engagement ring that she received from fiance Hayden Christensen. AN AUDRINA SPINOFF March 19, 2009 at 6:46 pm "Hills" star Audrina Patridge made an appearance at the premiere of "I Love You, Man in Hollywood on March 17, striking poses on the red carpet and hamming it up for photogs. Audrina chose a midnight blue silk dress (for simila frocks, try Walters Dutchess Satin One Sleeve Dress in Purple, or Ella Moss Hudson Crew Dress in Midnight) for her night out, along with a black leather clutch (check out Julie K Handbags Christie Clutch in Night Exotic) and Christian Louboutins studded booties. While I do love these boots, I think they were the completely wrong pick for this outfit. They make Audrinas legs look stumpy (plus, pretty much everyone in Hollywood has already been seen in these). Bad call, Audrina (or her stylist!). What do you think, readers? You have to admit, they are not the most flattering on her figure. For the finishing touch of her outfit, A.Pat slipped on a ton of gold bangles (like Alex and Anis Patented Expandable Wire Bangles in Yellow Gold) and called it a night. While Whitney has successfully departed from "The Hills" with her own spinoff, "The City," Audrina is now the next in line to get her own show. Guess shes not tired of constantly having the cameras around yet! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Audrina has inked a deal with British producer Mark Burnett, and the "proposed new series will follow Patridge in her personal and professional life and will be pitched to networks in the U.S. beginning next week." Of the show, Burnett says, "We are truly pleased to have the chance to work with Audrina. She has already proved her star quality, and we cant wait to show her fans worldwide the next stage of her life and career." Hmm, what do you think - would you watch Audrinas own show? Does anyone care?... ANOTHER YEAR OLDER March 19, 2009 at 5:00 pm Having some fun for her 34th birthday, Eva Longoria headed out for drinks and dindin with her BFF Mario Lopez at (where else?) Beso in Hollywood on March 16. Youd think at some point Eva would get sick of eating the same options all the time, but then again in these hard economic times, why turn down a free meal? Eva exited the eatery looking like her old 50s housewife self again -- flipped out curled hair, old fashioned button down dress (make it sexier with Lotta Stenssons Satin Shirt Dress in Black or try the cool print on Prairie NYs Shirt Dress in Gold Branches), perfectly matched metallic accessories (try CC Skyes flashy Mirror Clutch in Broken Silver with dangle earrings like Michele Michels Rococo Earrings in Sterling Silver). Not really loving it! Im bummed she got rid of the extensions too -- the short hair makes her face look a little chubby in my opinion. What do you think about the fit and the new do? After their b-day date, AC Slater -- ahem, I mean Mario - escorted the birthday girl to her ride amid the throngs of paparazzi gathered outside (watch the video of their quick exit here. She looks a little out of it while clinging to Marios arm before giving him a quick smooch before hopping in her SUV - what would Tony think? I have to assume not much, as he couldnt join his wife on her birthday due to his hectic schedule playing for the San Antonio Spurs. Guess Eva had to call in reinforcements! The Desperate Housewives star also celebrated over the weekend in Mexico, spotted lounging in a white caftan in Acapulco on her actual birthday, March 15, before heading back to Cali. Great to see her enjoying some birthday down time by herself... its just too bad shes always sans-hubby!... B LOVES PIGGING OUT March 19, 2009 at 3:42 pm Feeling a little bashful in front of the cameras, Beyonce Knowles stepped out for dinner with her hubby Jay-Z in NYC on March 13. The power couple treated Rihanna to a belated birthday dinner at one of their favorite eateries, The Spotted Pig headed by infamous chef Mario Batali. Singer Brandy also joined the group -- am I the only one who finds this a little random? Whatever happened to that girl? Its great to see RiRi looking fierce again in her flashy cut out boots and herringbone blazer seen here, while B took the more casual route with her worn in skinny jeans (like James Jeans Hunter High Rise Straight Leg in Icon) and guitar printed tee (check out the graphic on Raw 7s Guitar Longsleeve Tee in Red or snag a great deal with Rogans NYC Tee in Black). Adding shiny black pumps, a black tote with chains (Im sure B would approve of Antoinette Lees Dolce Handbag in Black) and a cool belt with black circle links, B has the perfect casual rockstar blend going on here. Love the super straight, darker weave too -- or is it a wig? You can never tell with this girl and her rumored $1 million collection of hair pieces, but Im inclined to assume the sources are right about her affinity for faux hair.
