PARIS ON WHEELS March 14, 2009 at 12:42 am Jetting off for a little vacation time, Jessica Alba had a day to herself to relax in Paris on March 11. Cruising the City of Lights on wheels, Jess checked out an art exhibit at the Jeu de Paume museum before meeting up with a lady friend for some serious shopping along the famous boulevard Saint Germain. Besides enjoying a little break from her motherly duties, Jessica is in town for Paris Fashion Week and is expected to attend the Miu Miu show tomorrow. For her day of sightseeing, Jessica started with a slouchy black turtleneck (try PGD Styles Jaclyn Cozy Turtleneck Top in Black for mild winter temps), dark skinnies (try Hudsons comfortable Carly Skinny Jean in Black) and some adorable black flats with flirty bows on the toes. Adding an electric blue knit cap, big round sunnies and an ornate tan printed tote (Im sure Jess would adore Carla Mancinis Tote with Braided Handles in Off White Crocodile for the spring season), Jess looked très chic as she made her way around the city. What do you think of her comfy look? If you noticed the futuristic handlebars of Jessicas bike, shes not trying to set herself apart from the crowd -- the bike is a rental from Paris bike-sharing service, called Velib. Its a pretty cool program, designed to alleviate traffic on the streets and give citizens an alternative to the crowded metro system. Riders can rent bikes hourly and turn them in to the nearest rental point when they reach their destination. Jess did just that when she met up with her gal pal for a delicious lunch at Relais de lEntrecÃte, turning her wheels in before hitting the shops. You know Ms. Green loves the idea of reducing her environmental impact -- if only LA would start up a similar program!... LAYING LOW AT BARDOT March 14, 2009 at 12:34 am Going quietly about her life as usual, Natalie Portman took a break from her super busy schedule for a night out with a gal pal at Bardot nightclub in West Hollywood on March 12. She looked a little worn out as she made her way to her car, but lets hope it wasnt from the booze! Nat was photographed getting behind the wheel and driving away from the bar with her girlfriend -- another potential celebrity DUI avoided? Though other celebs get all dolled up for Bardot (and the Hollywood scene in general), Natalie started her night in a casual magenta boyfriend cardigan (try Signorellis cozy Love Tree Button Cashmere Cardigan in Ash and be sure to check out the graphic on the back!) over a plain white tank, paired with charcoal skinny jeans (like Denim of Virtues Patiece 5 Pocket Tapered Jean in Dark Grey) and black wedge boots. Carrying a slouchy grey tote with a braided handle (opt for Rough Roses Roxy Tote in Grey), Im loving Nats casual vibe but lets face it: this fit is appropriate for day, not a night out! I guess Natalie has always made her own rules. The quirky actress was spotted taking her adorable pup Charlie out for a stroll earlier this week, enjoying a lunch with friends and a little down time before the much anticipated release of New York, I Love You next month. I have to say I am super excited that this flick is finally going to hit the theaters -- its been almost a year since Nat was spotted filming/directing in NYC last May! In case you missed Paris, I Love You, add it to your NetFlix queue ASAP and revel in the eclectic collection of short films revolving simply around the theme of love in Paris. Natalie played a famous actress in one of the shorts and also stars in one in the new flick -- although not as the same character. Nat also got the chance to sit in the directors chair for her own short this time around, along with Scarlett Johansson. Well have to wait and see how these two ladies live up to their reputations on the other side of the camera lens!... RIHANNA RESPONSIBLE? March 13, 2009 at 9:35 pm Rarely having been seen in public since her highly publicized alleged assault by boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna was spotted making her way around NYC this afternoon, March 13, keeping her sunglasses on as she took in the city. Wearing a pair of cutout black patent leather boots and matching leather gloves, RiRi actually flashed a bit of a smile for the photographers. She paired a grey herringbone jacket (try one of Prairie New Yorks coats, like the Wool Jacket in Smoke Herringbone or the Wool Bowling Jacket in Charcoal) with a pair of black legging pants (similar to Tag Jeans Stretch Skinny Pant in Black) and a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers. Its good to see her out and about! While I wont go in to every detail of RiRis recent happenings (Im sure you have been following whats been going on in her life), however, in a recent survey, many Boston teens say that Rihanna herself is to blame for her assault. Wait, what? "Of those questioned, ages 12 to 19, 71 percent said that arguing was a normal part of a relationship; 44 percent said fighting was a routine occurrence." These are pretty startling results... what do you think? Is Rihanna responsible in any way, shape, or form for the assault that she endured?... NOT INTO JORDAN March 13, 2009 at 9:07 pm Victoria Beckham was spotted leaving her hotel in London earlier today, March 13, sporting one of her many military-inspired hats as she braved the legions of paparazzi. In an all-navy outfit, Victoria started with a new pair of tribal Louis Vuitton "Spicy Sandals" stilettos (which Im not very fond of), and paired with super skinny ink denim (like Desert Blues Twin Blue Jean) and a cami-and-cardigan combo (try Autumn Cashmeres Puff Sleeve Crew Neck Cardigan in Black over either Walters Organza and Lace Trim Cami in Navy or their Vintage Lace Short Sleeve Top in Black). Accessory wise, VB donned a pair of oversized aviators, a big gold watch, her whopping wedding ring, and her BlackBerry Bold as she took to the streets. What do you think of her outfit here - chic, or like a policewoman? While Victoria is used to being LAs favorite British import, news is spreading that she is none too pleased that Katie Price, AKA Jordan, now also calls LA home. Allegedly, Vic is "pulling out all the stops" to avoid seeing Katie. Hey, LAs a pretty big city, Vic! A source says, "Victoria is furious Jordan has moved to LA. Her people have phoned all her favorite restaurants, salons and stores to make sure they know Victoria is desperate to avoid Jordan. Victoria doesnt want anything to do with Jordan and doesnt want some D-list celebrity ruining everything shes worked so hard for since moving to LA." That shes worked so hard for! Ha! The source continues, "Jordan, who is filming her reality TV show while living in the states - is determined to bump into Victoria - on camera. Jordan is desperate to have dinner at Beso and would love nothing more than to engineer an encounter with Posh that she could film.
