THE KIDS STILL LOVE HER April 3, 2009 at 12:19 am Not shy at all about her 36 years, Cameron Diaz attended the 2009 Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles on March 28. Dressing down for the event, Cam was all smiles when she arrived at UCLAs Pauley Pavilion to take part in the ceremony. Pairing a loose polka dot tank with super distressed 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans (try Denim of Virtues Justice Slim Bootcut Jean in Destroyed), Cameron teetered on funky striped heels and cinched her top with a thick wide belt (tone it down with Zoas Polka Dot Ruffle Sleeveless Blouse in Silver and Linea Pelles Triple Buckle Waist Belt in Vanilla). Cam made a special appearance at the ceremony this year to present the brand new Big Green Help Award to environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio, who told the crowd as he accepted the award: "We need all of you, the next generation, to be aware. Youre the future." Cameron has quite an eco-friendly reputation as well -- she and Leo were among two of the first celebs spotted cruising in Prius hybrids. Seriously, when is she going to ditch those hagatha, ratty hair extensions? Real hair would look so good on you, girl! For her daytime outfit, LL started with a Signorellis Omni Peace Tank in Black tucked into a pair of light wash short shorts (try James Jeans Ian Micro Short in Gangsta). In other Lindsay news, it seems that Linds is being sneaky about using competing self-tanner brands, instead of her own line of tanning products called Sevin Nyne. Allegedly, shes had mobile tanning company Fake Bake come tan her several times over the past few months. A source says, "Lindsay tans on the sly, and will have the van come to the house of her girlfriend [Samantha Ronson] instead of her own for discretionary purposes." Tanning espionage! However, Lindsays business partner, Kristi Kaylor, defended LL, saying, "Lindsay only uses Sevin Nyne. As well as perfecting the solution with our lab and choosing the scent, Lindsay named the product, art-directed the visual components and has been involved every step of the way. Lindsay also has her own machine and gallons of Sevin Nyne solution that she uses regularly." Gallons of tanner? Talk about a Lindsay paradise!... KATE MOSS IS A TOPSHOPPER April 2, 2009 at 10:02 pm Looking vibrant in a flowing emerald silk frock, model Kate Moss attended the grand opening of NYCs Topshop boutique on April 2. Wearing the limited edition Fairytale Maxi Dress from her Spring/Summer 2009 collection, the 35 year old Brit looked gorgeous in green as she posed with owner Sir Philip Green at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Despite the hard economic times, Topshop moved forward with the opening of its New York flagship store hoping to cater to the citys young fashionistas, as Green enthusiastically told the press: People havent stopped shopping. The young fashion market has still remained pretty resilient during these difficult times! Kates line has done exceptionally well in the UK -- with most items selling out in hours -- and the new Spring/Summer 2009 collection is available for purchase online and in store beginning today.
