MAYBE NOT MARRIAGE
March 9, 2009 at 10:36 pm

Nicole Richie was spotted at Kitson on Melrose promoting her jewelry line House of Harlow 1960 on Saturday, March 8, and as much as I love Nicole, I have to say shes looking a little tired. Maybe the combination of Harlow and her new pregnancy isnt giving her as much rest as she needs? In her typical boho-chic style, Nic chose a long white dress (like Cake Coutures Gardena Racer Back Dress in Ivory) with woven light leather sandals, and pretty much every piece from the HOH collection. For some pieces of jewelry similar to Nicoles new line, check out Rachel Leighs Heart Statement Necklace in Gold, and for similar bracelets, take your pick of CC Skyes Giant Single Stud Cuff in Black Patent or their Enamel Deco Bangle in Capri Black, or Alex and Anis Set of 7 Patented Gold Expandable Bangles. What do you think of Nicoles look here - yay or nay? While this the baby makes Nicoles second child with Joel Madden, Nicoles not sure if marriage will ever be in her future. Kurt and Goldie, anyone? Nicole tells Japans ViVi Magazine, "I dont know about marriage in the future. I make it a custom not to plan the future. I may plan to and I may not." Talk about a non-answer! Nicole says she wakes up at 6:45 AM each morning before Harlow gets up at 7, and of her changing style, she continues: "I wear jeans and a t-shirt and no makeup when I am with my daughter. But I take care of my adult time too. I like to go to restaurants and bars in high-heeled shoes and dresses when I have free time. Because I am still 27 years old, you know?" Work it out, Nic!...

REESES WORDS OF WISDOM
March 9, 2009 at 9:55 pm

Reese Witherspoon was photographed on the red carpet at the premiere of her new film Monsters vs. Aliens in Berlin on March 9, looking bright and sunny as always. For her premiere outfit, Reese picked a teal and charcoal dress (take a look at Black Halos Racer Back Dress with Pockets in Jade or Shumaqs Penelope Dress in Green) and paired with classy silver satin heels and delicate drop earrings (like Michele Michel Jewelrys Droplets Earring in Silver). Leave it to Reese to wear an outfit that is classy and cute yet still fun and ladylike. I approve. In case you havent already seen it, Reese is featured on the cover of the newest issue of Elle, and inside, shes dishing out her tips for successfully navigating a career in the spotlight as well as a family life. She says, "Its hard having kids. Its hard having a job. Its hard having a relationship - for anybody." Of boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, she says, "Hes fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy. Unfortunately, hes not in this movie ["Monsters vs. Aliens"], so we cant really talk about him." As far as her diet and workout regime, Reese says, "Im made of cookies after the holidays. Everything inside of me is made of sugar and flour and a little red wine - a lot of red wine." Love her!...

SHOWERED WITH GIFTS
March 9, 2009 at 9:18 pm

Paris Hilton was spotted rocking her typical array of hilarious pouty facial expressions and poses at her 28th birthday celebration at Body English inside The Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Las Vegas yesterday, Sunday March 8, going WAY overboard with the silver sparkly look. Its like, does Paris not realize that if she wears one thing that is silver and sparkly that EVERYTHING she wears doesnt have to be? Eesh! Then again, I dont think understatement has ever been her strong suit. PH started with a sparkly dress (for a similar, more subtle silver frock with a bit of sparkle, try Gold Hawks Sequin Dress in Celadon Green, or for a dress with a similar silhoutte (and in a pattern Paris would definitely approve of), try Lotta Stenssons Cheetah Dress in Print) and paired with a matching headband, bag, bracelet, ring and necklace (check out Rachel Leighs Millies Everyday Necklace in Silver). Matchy-match overload! But honestly, thats part of the reason why I love Paris - shes so tacky and just doesnt care! Also, is it just me or is P looking extra thin here? I mean I know Paris is always thin... what are your thoughts? In related Paris news, it seems that her new boy-toy, Doug Reinhardt, is said to be showering P with gifts. At least we know hes doing his part to keep the economy alive. For her birthday, he presented Paris with her 18th puppy, a teacup Pomeranian that allegedly cost $10,000. Ouch. Of the gift, Paris says, "He probably got me more presents than any guy ever. Hes sweet." Im not getting the made-to-last vibe here... more like the flavor-of-the-month vibe. It seems like Doug is definitely smitten, saying, "Shes the most beautiful girl on the planet. Shes amazing, both inside and out." Thoughts, dear readers?...

LOOKING UP TO MOM
March 9, 2009 at 8:43 pm

"Gossip Girl" cutie Leighton Meester was spotted fulfilling her spokesperson duties at the Reebok Top Down Launch Event in NYC on Saturday afternoon, March 7, looking cute (although I have to say, these kind of sneakers are not the most flattering for most girls legs). Starting with a ruffled leather jacket (check out Gold Hawks Ruffle Leather Jacket in Moonless Night) over a frilly, off-white frock (take a look at similar options from Cleo Brands, like the Iris Dress in Tan, or from Gold Hawk, like the Sleevless Flower Eyelet Dress in White Essence) and with a pair of her black hi-top Reeboks. She kept her hairstyle casual with a few wispy waves, and accessorized with a gold statement ring (try Robyn Rhodes Heidi Cluster with Leaf Ring in Gold) and a delicate gold chain necklace. What are you thinking about Leightons look here, love it or lose it? Leighton is seen in the newest issue of InStyle magazine (and in a pretty floral Fendi dress, no less) speaking out about her fashion inspirations. She says, "I think it all started with me looking up to my mom. She has great style. She was definitely out there when it comes to fashion but now I have a bunch of stuff she wore back then. I usually get complimented on them!" Ah, its true - you gotta love great pieces that have been passed down. She continues, "I do love fashion and I do love clothes but its more about expressing yourself than expressing a designer. Im not snobby about what I wear as far as designers. I just want to have fun with fashion, thats what its about." I do agree with her about that!...
