Another Bachelor Engagement March 2, 2009 at 12:02 pm Once again, I have been following the bachelor but I haven’t been posting much about this season because I’ve found it to be less interesting than I normally do. I am not sure if this is because I find Jason Mesnick to be boring or unappealing or if I have actually grown out of the show. Maybe I don’t like the single parent theme that has been pushed in our faces throughout the season. I am quite sick of hearing about Ty and I don’t give a crap to hear about any of these ladies kids. Maybe it is a mix of all of these things. All bitterness aside, I am interested to see who wins the final rose. I don’t feel like we know much about any of this seasons ladies, they are just faces to me. I remember in past seasons, I could look and say which lady I thought would be more compatible - this season, I feel like neither lady has much character and I don’t care who wins, nor do I care if the relationship lasts. Actually, in my opinion, Jason would be better off with someone a little older. A 24-25 year old is by no means a baby but I do believe he would be better suited for someone a bit closer to his age, a 29 or 30 year old is ready for this type of committment. At 24 years old, whether you want to believe it or not, you still have quite a bit of growing up to do. We will see what happens and as I said, I don’t particularly care. I have never been a fan of Jason. He seems like a nice guy but he is not my type. Tonight on the Bachelor, we will see whether Jason chooses Melissa or Molly. Any opinions on who will win? Anyone think one is a better match than the other? I think Molly is cuter but Jason and Melissa (based on looks because I don’t know anything about her personality) are an attractive pair. To the left is a picture of the ring Jason will present to Melissa or Molly at the close of tonights show. It is a Neil Lane Engagement ring with a total weight of 3.18 carats. The center stone weighing 1.94 carats. It is beautiful! None of these relationships seem to work out. What does it really matter who wins? I wonder who gets to keep that ring in the case that the relationship ends? I would want the ring more than the man. At least that has some monetary value.
