| | Kim Kardashian was spotted heading into the launch event of the new Belvedere IX vodka at My House in Hollywood on February 5, and seriously my mind is boggled at how she is even walking in those painfully high, painfully precarious hot pink stilettos! There is like one single thin strap keeping her foot secure - I dont know, I definitely give Kim an A for bravery here! For the rest of her fit, KK chose a black and white mini dress with exposed zipper (for a dress with a similar color combo, check out Tricia Fixs Siva Cocktail Dress in White, or tuck a white cami, like Zoas Logo Camisole in White into a full black skirt, like Prairie New Yorks Wool Pleated Skirt in Black Flannel) under a black military-inspired jacket (similar to William Rasts Outerwear Black Jacket). Finishing things off, Kim accessorized with a gold watch, simple studded earrings and a classy black clutch, similar to Jenny Yuen Handbags Cleo Clutch in Black. What do you think of Kims outfit overall (the shoes are a different story)? While everyone is unanimously fascinated and confused about the current Chris Brown/Rihanna news, Kim has taken to her blog to vent about the mysterious happenings. Kim said, "Everyone was scrambling around trying to figure out how to fill the time lost due to Rihanna and Chris Brown not showing up. I am in shock Rihanna and Chris canceled on this years Grammy show! I was SO looking forward to seeing both of them. They were essentially going to be the prom queen and king this year!" | | Where in the world is Angelina Jolie? After the SAG Awards in LA last week, the Jolie-Pitt gang flew to Tokyo for the Japanese premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on January 29. Angie looks very classy in her iconic wrap dress by Reem Acra (check out similar options like Lotta Stenssons Basic Wrap Dress in Slate or PGD Styles Wrap Dress in Black), but I have to question the shiny satin choice. Do you think its flattering on her? Completing her old fashioned look with black satin peep toes and a decadent pair of pearl earrings (Kuo Tings Labradorite Marquis Earrings in Gold would be gorgeous with a simple pearl bracelet like Brian Nagourneys Forget Me Knot Bracelet in Black), Angie looks a little jet-lagged but otherwise shone on the red carpet at Brads side. Angelina lives a very low key life now that shes a mother of 6 and the UNs Goodwill Ambassador, but recently her name came up in conversation from none-other than party gal Paris Hilton. When asked who her dream best friend would be, Paris gushed, I love Angelina Jolie! Shes strong but gorgeous and uses her fame for good to make a big difference in the world. Thats a great quality. Id have a lot in common with her! Try to wrap your mind around that one! I wasnt aware that Paris is using her fame to save the world, so Im pretty sure Angie would disagree... what exactly do she and Paris have in common?... |

| | Blake Lively was spotted posing for a wall of photographers at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany a little earlier today, February 9, looking gorgeous as usual. Blake made an appearance at the film festival to promote her upcoming film, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, and I must say, from boarding a flight to Germany right after filming scenes of "Gossip Girl," Blake is looking pretty good! Her outfit, on the other hand, Im not so sure about. I dont have a problem with Blakes black mini (for similar options, check out Lotta Stenssons Ruffle Mini Dress in Black or Smittens Empire Pleated Dress in Black) over a blue tank (like Signorellis Love Tree Rhinestone Tank in Pear) and black tights, its just the shoes that Im kind of iffy on. What do you think, CoutureCandy readers? I just dont think they work with Blakes waist belt (check out Linea Pelles Laced Waist Belt with Grommets in Scotch). Thoughts? Blake finished up her ensemble with a single, standout ring, like Castaway Jewelrys Chalcedony Ring in Brass. In other "GG" news, Blake is speaking out about the spinoff that is in the works. Blake says, "I think its a great idea!," adding, "Our second-to-last episode is going to double as their pilot. So a lot of our show will be flashbacks of the young Lily and the young Rufus, which youll be seeing in the new series. | | Supermodel Miranda Kerr was spotted looking fabulous as ever after leaving an interview at 2Day FM in Sydney, Australia last night, February 8. For Kerrs casual-chic outfit, she started with a slightly oversized black blazer (like Signorellis Logo Blazer in Black) paired with a funky patterned mini-dress (check out similar options from LaROK, like the Tiva Dress in Multi, and Tricia Fix, like the appropriately named Miranda Mini Dress in Orange Medallion) and strappy stilettos. MK accessorized with a black leather waist belt (similar to Linea Pelles Double Buckle Waist Belt with Pyramid Studs in Black), multiple rings, and a huge hobo bag (take a peek at Antoinette Lee Designs Stella Bag in Black). Personally, I love Mirandas look here - so looks effortlessly stylish. Orlando Bloom is one lucky fella! | | Cutie-pie Rachel Bilson was spotted doing some shopping at Confederacy boutique in LA on February 4, flashing a coy smile for the paparazzi as she headed to her car. To get Rachels look, start with a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers, and cozy up in a warm sweater (check out Autumn Cashmeres Tweed Popcorn Cable Shawl Sweater in Jet Smoke or Prairie New Yorks Wool Cardigan in Black).
