MORE "HILLS"! February 24, 2009 at 12:27 am Lauren Conrad was spotted working the red carpet of the 10th Annual Academy Awards Celebration Dinner and After-Party benefiting Children Uniting Nations in Los Angeles last night, February 22, sporting a new bang-heavy hairdo. For Laurens post-Oscars look, she chose a greyish-black sequined mini dress (check out LaROKs Serengeti Tunic in Black Zebra) with a pair of black tights and black suede Christian Louboutin heels. Accessory wise, she snagged an embellished black clutch (try Linea Pelle Collections LC Clutch in Black, which Lauren actually helped design!) and kept her jewelry minimal, wearing the delicate charm necklace that she never leaves home without, silver drop studs (try Rachel Leighs Estelle Stud Earrings in Silver) and a simple pretty bracelet (take a peek at Amy DiGregorios Assonet Bay Bracelet in Rose Quartz). For those of you "Hills" fans out there, PerezHilton.com is reporting that new (and final) episodes of the reality show will begin on MTV next month. You wont see Laurens boyfriend, Kyle Howard, featured on these new eps, as producer Liz Gateley says, "Kyle is not essential to the seasons narrative. The new episodes really focus on tying up relationships of the past." Relationships of the past? Lauren and Heidi? Lo and Audrina? Spencer and Lauren??? I wonder which past relationships shes referring to - and will you be watching?... BABY NUMBER TWO! February 23, 2009 at 9:23 pm Nicole Richie and her beau Joel Madden were spotted heading into the posh Sunset Tower Hotel last night, February 22, for Vanity Fairs Oscar After Party, and it might just be my imagination but I think you can slightly make out a baby bump under Nicoles flowing dress. Thoughts? For her night on the town look, Nic started with a long yellow frock (check out options in a similar hue, like Cake Coutures Palm Beach Long Dress in White or Ella Moss Piper Dress in Daisy) that I have to say seems a bit casual for post-Oscar parties (just my two cents) along with a sparkly bag (similar to Julie K Handbags Gigi Mini Bag in Pewter) and a dramatic cat eye. Dont get me wrong, I like Nicoles look, I just think it seems a bit casual for the occasion, dont you think? As Im sure youre already aware, Harlow is going to be an older sister, as Nicole and Joel are expecting baby number two. Joel took to his official blog and said announced the pregnancy, and now friends of the famous couple are speaking out. Paris mom, Kathy Hilton, said "Im so excited for Nicole, I think its going to be a boy. Im never wrong." The star of the series "Chuck" (on which Nicole guest starred) added, "I think that theyll be a good unit to hopefully bring up their kids in a way where they are stand-up individuals who lead their generation into being a good one." DEVOTION TO HER DAUGHTER February 23, 2009 at 9:02 pm The stunning Halle Berry made an appearance at the Essence Magazine Black Woman in Hollywood Awards Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on February 19, rocking her amazing post baby bod and posing coyly for the cameras. For a look similar to Halles (and most likely at a fraction of the cost), pair LaROKs Cup de Jour Dress in Nude) with metallic heels and an exotic clutch (try Julie K Handbags Cosmo Bag in Natural Exotic) and a flashy cocktail ring, and youll be all set to turn heads and dazzle your friends. At the luncheon, HB was honored for her acting, producing and philanthropic work, and apparently could not stop gushing about her baby girl, Nahla. Berry said, "As a woman, I thought it was all about work and accomplishments. Then this little baby comes along and says that its not about that." Halle continued, with tears in her eyes, "Im complete. I have more to offer my craft because [my daughter] makes me indelibly better every day." How touching! Im sure most moms out there can relate.
