RETURN OF THE COUGAR
February 18, 2009 at 12:17 am

She might be in a relationship with a very sexy male model, but Cameron Diaz spent her Valentines Day making a special guest appearance on Saturday Night Live in NYC on February 14. Reprising her role as Kiki DeMore on the Cougar Den sketch, Cam and Alec Baldwin were absolutely hilarious together. After the show, Cam exited the SNL studios with a red rose from a mystery Valentine -- maybe Paul pulled some strings and had it waiting for her? From there, Cam spent her night at an SNL afterparty before heading back to her hotel solo. For her afterparty fit, Cameron wore a tight fitting peacoat (check out Raw 7s Cashmere Peacoat in Black) with a cozy scarf (like Elizabeth Gilletts Parkle Ruffle Scarf in Black) and dark skinny jeans (7 For All Mankinds Edie Staple Jean in Peru are super comfy) tucked into quilted knee high boots. Carrying a faded blue tote (like Carla Mancinis Whipstitch Double Handle with Front Pocket in Teal FIX PRODUCT NAME), Cam rocked red lipstick as her only other accessory, which she removed before heading back to her hotel after the party. Hope she didnt rub it off on anyone elses lips! We all know how Cameron feels about commitment, but recently a source revealed Cam has had a change of heart after falling head over heels for Paul Sculfor. Rumor has it, the couple is planning to wed this summer in the English countryside! According to the secret source, Cameron wants a big white wedding with the full works. Shes even in talks with Karl Lagerfield to design a Chanel couture wedding dress for her. Paul and Cameron are so happy together and have talked about getting married this summer or early autumn, and then having kids immediately. Its the real deal and theyre absolutely crazy about each other. Ill believe it when I see that couture Chanel wedding gown!...

BLUE BLUNDER
February 17, 2009 at 11:47 pm

Taking a big fashion chance, Jessica Alba supported her director-hubby Cash Warrens premiere of Crips and Bloods: Made in America in Hollywood on February 10. First of all, Im not a fan of the baggy shape and the hook on the side gathering the dress. It adds way to much volume to her body and the little girl tights and plain pumps arent helping either. Dont get me wrong, I love the bright blue hue (try dresses in a similar shade like Shumaqs better tailored Sophia Dress in Bright Blue, Smittens Aline Turtleneck Dress in Blueberry or Karina Grimaldis Zuni Silk Mini Dress in Royal Blue), but its a pretty shocking decision. Youd think red and blue would be the last two colors youd wear to an event involving Crips and Bloods! Jessica is no stranger to slip ups, and she got herself into quite a mess at the Declare Yourself event in Washington, DC last month. After getting into a tiff with Bill OReillys producer after refusing to give a shout-out for the show, Jess tried to get things back on track by asking the reporter what he liked best about Obama. Like Jess, he wouldnt respond, so she replied jokingly, Thats right, be neutral. Be Sweden.. Of course, Bill OReilly jumped all over the comment, insinuating she meant to say Switzerland. Bill was actually incorrect -- both Sweden and Switzerland have a long history of neutrality in armed conflicts -- but that didnt stop him from calling her a pinhead on the show. To prove her smarts, Jessica defended herself on her blog and posted a link to Wikipedia proving Swedens neutrality: Last week, Mr. Bill OReilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people...its so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland. Whos the pinhead now?...
