As we previously reported, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi had a few choice words for the companies that pulled their advertising from her hit MTV show, Jersey Shore. And surprisingly enough, Domino's actually addressed her comments! "Our first response was, 'What a classy young lady—her parents must be so proud,'" said a rep for the pizza company. "There's no need to get into a war with this young girl, because ticktock, her 15 minutes are almost up." LOLs! "We have no issue with MTV or the programming it airs. Just like viewers have a choice of what they want to watch, advertisers have a choice on what shows they want to advertise," the rep continued. "We didn't pull a penny from MTV. We love what they do. Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter on Thursday to offer this bikini pic with the caption, "Peace and Love Mates" and promised some "positive-LOHAN MAYHEM!!!!!!!!" in the year to come. She revealed her New Year's resolution as well! Although it seems like an odd combination, Elton John has been key in helping Eminem recover from his addiction to prescription drugs. "I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly," said Elton, who has his own issues with substance abuse. The rapper had his first stint in rehab in 2005, in which he almost overdosed on methadone. It didn't stick and by May of 2009, he developed a habit that led him to taking nearly 20 Vicodin, Ambien and Valium a day. "I'm there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there's no point advising people if they don't want to do it," continued John. We hope Em wants it! It's about time he cleaned up act! It's probably better that way! After the domestic abuse allegations against their poppa, Charlie Sheen, lil' 10-month-old Bob and Max will be staying with their momma, Brooke Mueller, for the time being. Child welfare officials approved that they reside in Aspen for the month with their non-violent parental unit. "The people from the social services agency talked to Brooke, her mom, her step dad and her nanny, and told them that everything looks good and Brooke appears to be an excellent mother," claims a source close to Mueller. "Brooke and the twins, Max and Bob, are planning to stay in their rented Aspen house for at least another month. After that they may go to Palm Beach to visit family for awhile." Due to scheduling conflicts, the court date to settle Brooke and Charlie's domestic dispute has been pushed back from Monday to later in the month. Ha! We can't imagine giving Charlie even partial custody of those kiddies! |

Marvel shareholders approved the sale on Thursday which means Disney now owns the rights to Spider-Man, Iron Man and its 5,000 other comic book creations. Isaac "Ike" Perlmutter, Marvel chief executive, will continue to oversee the business, but report to Walt Disney Co. CEO Robert Iger. After staying sober for over 20 years, Tom Arnold is lending his experience with addiction problems to those who desperately need to recover. The actor convinced his troubled friend, Jason Davis, to enter a treatment facility for his addictions. Tom staged an emergency intervention on Wednesday in which he went to the luxury high rise where the addict was holed up. He first alerted the LAPD of his actions and took Jason's brother, Alexander, for support. Jason's mother, Nancy Davis, states, "My son Alexander and Tom Arnold went to help my son Jason, who is an addict, to help save his life." It was not easy, but Jason did agree to attend rehab! After almost 40 years of ushering in the New Year, Dick Clark is still on top. At least with a little help from Ryan Seacrest! According to Nielsen ratings, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC was the most-watched show of the night. It was even up 2% from last year! It may not have been #1 but NBC'S New Year's Eve With Carson Daly did better than ever. The ratings were up 13% in adults 18-49, while Fox's Billboard New Year's Eve Live was down by 21%. And we can't think of anyone who deserves it more! Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, has taken refuge in the French Alps on a ski trip. The former model is staying in a 5,000-per-night chalet while surrounded by her twin sister, five close friends and a French security team. Nordegren arrived last Sunday and has been spending most of her time in the chalet at Les Houches, the most luxurious in the entire valley. It has seven bedrooms, a hot tub and a full staff including a chef. Amazeballs! "Elin wanted to take her family and close friends away from the minefield Tiger has created by his behavior. She has been absolutely torn to pieces by what he has done to her," said a family friend. "But she still sees a future with Tiger because of the beautiful children they have. She told him she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage." She seems to be doing extremely well considering the circumstances! Elin gets up everyday at 6:30 a.m. and insists on keeping her independence. She even went out for an expensive dinner on New Years Eve to culminate a "new start." Lots of luck with that! We know the British are notorious for having bad teeth, but this is a little much! Though Bryce Dallas Howard was suppose to be interviewed about her new movie The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, she couldn't escape having to answer questions about her Twilight gig and her most desirable costar, Robert Pattinson. She told a rather peculiar story about him involving a freak accident with dental floss. She explained: "He told me this story that made me crack up. He was like, 'Oh, I have to go to the dentist.' And I was like, 'Oh no, what happened? Just a checkup?' And he was like, 'No, I chipped a tooth.' And I was like, 'How?' And he was like, 'Flossing.' "

What is going on at this chain for CHILDREN?! A woman's wallet was stolen from the Chuck E. Cheese in Horn Lake, Mississippi while celebrating her son's 6th birthday, just a week before Christmas! Tabitha Stacks, who has four small children, couldn't believe someone would knowingly steal from a mother before the holidays. She says: "They didn't just select a random purse to steal from, they watched a person with four small children, the week before Christmas. You're just devastated. My whole financial life was in that wallet, all my credit cards, my debit card, my checking account information."
She says she only left for a moment to watch her son play a game and when she returned her wallet was gone. While we don't think it was right for them to steal, you should NEVER leave your wallet unattended in a public place! Not very smart. It didn't sound likely that she was going to be able to get Christmas together for her kids. A self-proclaimed "last-minute" person, she had yet to pick up all her Christmas gifts for the kids. Sucks! But on a good note, at least no one was hurt this time. | | |
