Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin made a bold move when she decided to change her trademark hairstyle. She chose stylist to the stars, Ted Gibson, to take on the big transformation. He must be good if Angelina Jolie lets him handle her locks, right? You can see Kate showing off her brand new hair extensions on the cover of People magazine. How long did the entire process take? TWENTY HOURS. That's correct, almost an entire calendar day.
Ted spoke to the magazine about his time with the reality star. "Kate was an absolute sweetheart, I loved her. Bonding extensions to those little hairs really took time. But in all those hours, she didn't complain once. She was so open to whatever I suggested, and willing to try just about anything," he said. If you ask me, I think anything would be better than that last wacky hairdo she was sporting. What do you think?
Wondering how a joker like Russell Brand would decide to propose to his love Katy Perry? I figured he'd so something silly and outlandish, but it turns out that he's actually quite romantic. After just two months together, Russell, 34, and Katy, 25, took a trip in December 2009 to Jaipur, India and stayed at the at the Taj Ramburgh Palace hotel. A hotel worker filled the UK Sun in on all the details:
"He [Russell] had organised a special dining experience. We set a table in a garden with candles everywhere. They arrived in a horse and carriage with a glass of champagne and we served them dinner. At midnight they enjoyed fireworks and then they were taken to the Mughal Garden - which was decorated by flowers and candlelight."
