Aww, Levi McConaughey has gained a lil' sis! Matthew McConaughey updated his website on Sunday afternoon to inform the world that his girlfriend Camila gave birth to their second child early Sunday morning! Writes Mateo: Happy New Year everybody!!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13am, Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb. 7oz. baby girl named "Vida Alves McConaughey"…. Vida is Portuguese for "life" and that's what God gave us this morning… Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family… thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way. another blessed day. we give thanks. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila

At least it wasn't too serious! Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis was galloping along on her horse in El Lay last week, but the big pony got a little too excited and Leona was thrown off the horse! "Leona was riding the day before New Year's Eve and fell off when the horse started galloping too fast," a friend of the singer informed reporters. "It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble." After Kathy Griffin let the f-word slip on the cable news network's New Year's Eve special with Anderson Cooper, CNN has issued an apology for Griffin's potty mouth. The network's "apology" stated that it "regrets that profanity was used during our New Year's Eve coverage". Not much of an apology! Longtime sidekick to Howard Stern, comedian Artie Lange has been hospitalized! Lange's publicist has released a brief statement confirming that the known addict is currently in a New Jersey hospital, saying: "We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment." Lange's substance abuse troubles have been well-known for a number of years, most recently losing his license for 7 months after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of the sleeping pill Restoril back in October. Considering her brush with death earlier this month, Alexa Ray Joel has thanked everyone for their love and support through this difficult time and is doing pretty well considering the circumstances. Alexa's hospitalization was due to an overdose of pills at a time of crippling depression and wants to help others who are suffering. She wants to "help young girls with something I know a GREAT deal about: Heartbreak-Related Depression. Although it does not get much attention in our society, it is a very serious and painful condition that often gets swept under the carpet. I hope to bring this topic more to light." Earlier this year, American Express sued Courtney Love claiming that she owed $352,059.67 in unpaid bills. Now she's countersuing the credit card company due to their alleged sloppy business practices! Courtney claims that AmEx issues 104 credit cards in her name without her knowledge or consent and that she never made any of those charges in question.
