All sorts of stars welcomed 2010 in bathing suits, from the bikini-filled yachts of St. Bart's to the many shirtless sights in Miami. Rihanna arrived in sunny Mexico today on a romantic getaway with a new flame, LA Dodgers player Matt Kemp. The duo spent New Year's Eve together in Dubai where Rihanna performed at a party to ring in 2010. After checking out the view Rihanna and Matt didn't waste any time getting into their suits and heading for the hot tub. It looks like she's enjoying the fresh start after a roller coaster 2009, and she had no problem showing her love for her new guy with some poolside kisses.
Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z kicked off their New Year's celebrations Thursday with a romantic afternoon on a yacht in St. Bart's. They headed over to the club Nikki Beach once night rolled around, with Beyonce getting decked out in a sequins to take the stage and entertain a crowd that included their pal Usher. Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Usher were then off to hop on another boat, which took them over to Roman Abramovich's party. Beyonce performed once again at the star-studded bash, earning a paycheck equal to the one Gwen Stefani took home for her own appearance. It was a busy night for Beyonce. And while Jay-Z stayed in the audience, he's not off the radar - he just released his video for "On to the Next One."
Kate Moss traveled from London to Thailand last week for her annual new year's break. For the second year running Jamie Hince joined her as they hit the beach covered up on Thursday. After ringing in 2010, they lounged on the deck of a yacht - a familiar sight after their Summer fun in St. Tropez. Kate brought her camera along yesterday for another afternoon on the sand wearing a white two-piece. She's taking some time off after another successful year of fashion and perfume launches. Kate recently opened up about her beauty routine, and how she manages her growing empire while balancing her busy schedule. Here's more:
On how she juggles everything: "Day by day. I live in the moment. Obviously, my diary's scheduled, but I don't really think about what I've got to do in two weeks because I might freak out, so I just take it a day at a time. I say what I'm going to do and when I'm going to do it. I'll know a few days in advance, but I don't look too far into the future. I will go into ostrich mode if I have too much on my plate: I won't be able to think properly about anything."
On her traveling secrets: "I wear black; always trousers - stretchy black jeans and a flat shoe or boot. And I have my own blanket."
On if she ever had a plan for her career: "No. I would never have thought about it, ever. I remember meeting this girl in Florida, maybe the year before I started, and she was the daughter of a friend of my dad. She was, like, "I wanna be a model." I thought it was so vain, really embarrassing."
Sienna Miller was back on the beach this afternoon with a few girl friends in Barbados. She's had all sorts of company during her extended vacation in the Caribbean island - first soaking up the sun with her mother before Jude Law and his three kids arrived. Jude has since moved onto a different location with Rafferty, Iris and Rudy, but Sienna seemed perfectly content to carry on her good times without her on-again man.
Gwen Stefani was in a red bikini this afternoon as she hit the beach in St. Bart's with Gavin Rossdale and their sons. She also broke out a black two-piece on Saturday for a boat ride with Zuma and Gavin, who was shirtless yesterday for another trip out to sea with Kingston.
The Stefani-Rossdales spent the month of December together in London, before trading Gavin's hometown for the warmer climate of the Caribbean island. Their New Year's celebrations were equally hot, as they rang in 2010 with the other stars at Roman Abramovich's estate - Gwen took the stage at his bash, and reportedly was paid over $500,00 for doing so.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh to see Mary Poppins on Broadway yesterday. The famous family has been spending time in NYC while Angelina works on re-shoots for Salt. Lauren Conrad welcomed 2010 in LA with her old costars from The Hills, Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth, but she was soon off to Mexico with her boyfriend, Kyle Howard. LC and Kyle were spotted out for a stroll yesterday afternoon, but they also found time to relax by the pool at their hotel. Kyle went shirtless for their lounging session, but Lauren wore a coverup over her bikini. They aren't strangers to a good beach afternoon, but it looks like LC did go without one thing near and dear to her heart - your favorite BlackBerry obsessed celeb finally put her device down for a bit.
Kellan Lutz headed down to Miami for a few days of fun and sun around last week. He kicked things off with a party alongside Leighton Meester, and he kept the good times rolling on New Year's Eve with a shirtless afternoon poolside at the Shore Club Hotel. He watched the clock strike midnight fully clothed, though, at a Just Jared bash that also brought out Brittany Snow. He was in a white shirt and tan cap for a stroll on Saturday afternoon before changing into leather for another evening out. It was around this time last year that Kellan bared his six-pack on the beach with AnnaLynne McCord, and the duo apparently saw a bit of each other during their latest stay in Florida - she was spotted sneaking into his bungalow after celebrating at her own New Year's bash, and she even wore a wig to stay by his side Friday afternoon. They went to similar lengths to stay incognito yesterday when they tried to dodge cameras after being spotted hopping out of a taxi.
Jennifer Garner rang in the new year in LA, and she was up early the next morning for a stroll in Santa Monica. She brought along her girls Violet and Seraphina, who was nestled in the arms of a nanny. They stopped off at a children's shop, where Violet explored some of the merchandise under Jennifer's watchful eye. At one point Violet had her mom bend down to kiss a boo-boo on her foot. Jennifer took home the honor of being your favorite down-to-earth mother of 2009, though she's not the only Garner-Affleck who earned praise - Seraphina was your number one new addition of the year, and her name also earned a Sugar Award. Ben was with his girls yesterday afternoon for a special foursome outing to the Brentwood Country Mart.
Hayden Panettiere was in a pink bikini Thursday to chill poolside in Miami with the boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko. The duo flirted on their lounge chairs, while Hayden alternated between sipping her Diet Coke and nibbling on a snack. After getting her fill of sunshine, she threw on her cover-up to take a solo stroll along the beach. Their good times continued Friday, when Hayden slipped into another suit for more side-by-side bonding with Ukrainian Wladimir. At 33, he seems to be in the age range Hayden prefers for her guy pals - the 20-year-old actress was vacationing this time last year with her 30-something ex-boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia in Bora Bora and May saw her enjoying some yacht fun with Brit Steve Jones.
