Ed Westwick had his hands full while out shopping in NYC yesterday. His route included a stop by the Armani and Apple stores to pick up goodies for the fashion and tech enthusiasts in his life. He and his Gossip Girl costars are all enjoying a break from working on their series, just in time for some holiday fun. They're celebrating in different ways - Leighton was spotted getting up close and personal with her boyfriend Sebastian Stan, while Blake Lively threw weather considerations into the wind by showing lots of skin at last night's premiere of Sherlock Holmes.
Pete Wentz had Bronx on his back yesterday when they stepped out to tackle their holiday lists without Ashlee. It was apparently a pretty successful trip, since Pete twittered that his Christmas shopping was all done. Ashlee was with Pete later in the afternoon, though, when they hit the grocery store to pick up a few bags of food. They'll continue nesting in New York for the foreseeable future, as Ashlee's stint on Broadway goes until Feb. 7. She was off for a performance last night as Pete headed out to see the premiere of Sherlock Holmes, where he was apparently pretty captivated by Jude and RDJ's good looks.

Jude Law hit The Late Show last night to talk about Sherlock Holmes. He's in the middle of a press blitz to promote the film, which included premieres in both London and NYC. As if his schedule wasn't busy enough, he's also spending his free time romancing Sienna Miller with Central Park carriage rides. So he was understandably a little tired during his chat with Dave, which included Jude making the misstatement that he has three kids. He welcomed his fourth, daughter Sophia, earlier this year to a slight scandal, and apparently still hasn't met her. It was either a fatigued oversight or an unkind statement, so tell us what you think - was Jude's saying he has three kids an innocent slipup or a serious offense?
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz wrapped up work on Knight & Day yesterday afternoon, so their night was free to celebrate Katie Holmes's 31st birthday, which is actually today! The festivities took place at an Irish bar in Seville, with Isabella, Connor, and Suri coming out to wish Katie well. Cameron spent some time chatting with Tom and Katie, but she was also off getting a little touchy-feely with a male friend. The Holmes-Cruises called it a night and piled into a car, which drove them straight to the airport and toward their next round of holiday adventures.

The cast of Sherlock Holmes gathered in NYC last night for yet another premiere before the Christmas day release. Rachel McAdams posed solo and with her handsome costars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. RDJ only had eyes for his wife, however, who he cuddled up with on the red carpet as we reveled in the newly released trailer for Iron Man 2. Rachel has been doing her part out promoting the film including on the cover of Vogue and with an interview on GMA while Jude and Robert have been doing their late night thing. The director Guy Ritchie brought his son Rocco out for the big night, despite the movie's PG-13 rating. Guy and even baby Rocco made appearances on our Decade of Hollywood Love slideshow as were Rachel and Jude with a few famous exes. Blake Lively and New Moon's Ashley Greene joined in the fun wearing contrasting white and black for the big night out.

Ben Affleck was in charge of picking up Violet from class yesterday. She was preoccupied with her stuffed moose, but that wasn't the only fuzzy thing about their school run - Ben showed off a serious beard. It's just in time to keep Ben's face warm should he and his family be heading to colder climates this holiday season, but for now it seems like they're focusing on matters closer to home. Jennifer's stalker, who was arrested earlier this week for violating a restraining order, is set to face criminal charges and up to four years in jail.
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz posed with crew members of Knight & Day yesterday in Seville as they finished their final day of working on the film in Spain. They spent the last few weeks in the country soaking up the local culture and filming action scenes for their project, following a short time together in Austria. Tom was able to visit with family when he had breaks between scenes, and Katie, Suri, Isabella and Conor all traveled to Europe to pay him a visit. Now that Tom's wrapped things up with Cameron, he can look forward to holiday times with his family as Katie gears up to play her favorite role of Santa.
Rachel Bilson went without a coat while running errands in LA Wednesday. Other celebrities have been taking care of their holiday shopping wrapped up to face the Winter weather, but California girl Rachel was happy to venture out in just a blazer. As the decade comes to a close the show that made her famous, The OC, was named one of Buzz's favorites and in 2010 she'll be back on her familiar stomping grounds of television. She's set to appear on the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother when it returns in January, but for now she's all about making sure everyone is wrapping up the year on a happy note.
