Paul Anka said that his estranged wife Anna had a bad attitude when he came to visit their son and step-daughter so Anka called 911 when she wouldn’t let him play with their son. Then on Christmas Eve, Paul Anka attempted to see the children again but Anna took the kids upstairs and locked the door. Then Anna reportedly went nuts when she realized her ex had brought a security man over to get video from the day before. Paul left the home and came back that evening and said Anna refused to serve him dinner and told her relatives in Swedish not to talk to him. Then she put electrical tape over the security camera. So Anka called 911 again. Police responded but did not arrest anyone. A 31 year-old guy named Jonathan Bricklin, who runs a ping-pong club called Spin. Here’s what Page Six reported: Sarandon was recently rumored to be involved with 31-year-old Jonathan Bricklin, a partner in Spin, the Flatiron District pingpong club Sarandon invested in. Before opening Spin in September, Bricklin was known for hosting Naked Ping Pong, an occasional party at a TriBeCa loft attended by models, hipsters, and celebs as diverse as 50 Cent and Salman Rushdie. Bricklin denied to Page Six that he and Sarandon were anything but professional, calling her his "friend and business partner." Read more on this story below. Nathan Marlowe and Cynthia Manzo filed a restraining order against the long-tongued KISS band member after they said he threatened to kill them. The couple and Gene Simmons were all at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles on December 19 when Marlowe walked up to Simmons and asked him about “his public persona about monogamy.” They claim that at that moment Simmons grabbed him by the throat followed by a headbutt and also choked him and said, “I will kill you.”  Then Marlowe said that Gene grabbed his wife’s throat and did the same thing before taking their camera. But the judge denied the temporary restraining order application citing that the couple didn’t show “a threat of future harm.” Don’t eff with Gene Simmons guys! Big Brother And The Holding Company's James Gurley Dies at Age 69 December 25, 2009 at 10:25 am The lead guitarist for Janis Joplin’s band Big Brother and the Holding Company, James Gurley, has died at the age of 69. Read more on Gurley’s death below. James Gurley reportedly died after suffering a heart attack. Gurley was one of the most well-known of the guitarists of the 1960’s along with the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, Jefferson Airplane’s Jorma Kaukonen and Barry Melton of Country Joe and the Fish. “I would say all of my guitar-playing contemporaries strived to have their own sound, but I think James was a huge influence on all of us because he wasn’t afraid to break the boundaries of conventional music,” Melton said Thursday. “What one thinks of that genre of music is that place that it takes you to where the beat is just assumed and the whole thing is transported to another place, and James is the guy who started that.” Gurley would use an electric vibrator as a slide on his guitar and created a sound that was unique. “Some of the innovations were the result of the fact he came from kind of a progressive bluegrass school of music where weirdness was encouraged,” said Peter Albin, the group’s bass player.
