About.com Celebrity Gossip Actor Charlie Sheen Arrested in Aspen December 25, 2009 at 2:11 pm For actor Charlie Sheen, this will most likely be a Christmas to remember. But not in a good way. Charlie was arrested on December 25 after he and his wife, Brooke Mueller, apparently got into some kind of argument, according to Hollyscoop. The Pitkin County Sheriffs Office released the following statement: "Carlos Irwin Estevez, also known as the actor Charles I. Sheen, was brought to the Pitkin County Colorado Jail for booking and incarceration following his arrest by the Aspen Police Department. Estevez had been arrested for Second Degree Assault, Menacing, and Criminal Mischief. All charges are coupled with a domestic violence component." The statement went on to say that Charlie "has a total bond amount of $8,500. As with all domestic violence cases, Mr. Estevez will remain incarcerated at the jail until his case undergoes its initial judicial review." After what must have been the longest and most painful week for the entire family, she was finally laid to rest on Thursday. Brittany, 32, was was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles surrounded by her closest friends and family. The toxicology results should be in soon and will hopefully help investigators piece together this awful tragedy. R.I.P. Brittany Murphy. Susan, 63, and Tim, 51, always struck me as the Hollywood couple that would surely stand the test of time. A rep for the actress released a statement to the press giving very few details. "Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer. No further comments will be made," she told People magazine. They have two sons together, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17, as well Susan's 24-year-old daughter Eva from a previous relationship.
