The political hard rockers wanted to take Simon Cowell and X Factor winner Joe McElderberry down a peg and begged their fans to download the single to prevent Joe from being #1!
And they did!
RATM's Killing in the Name Of was downloaded more than 500,000 times in the past week while McElderberry's Miley Cyrus cover only sold 450,000 copies.
Reports say Simon Monjack strongly opposes the Los Angeles County Coroner's office's decision to perform an autopsy on Murphy!!!!
The coroner's office are still planning to performing an autopsy on the late actress and there is a pending investigation by both the Coroner and the LAPD in the cause of Brittany's death.

Reports are sayingBrittany Murphy's own mother discovered Murphy completely unconscious in the shower on Sunday morning!

The paramedics declared Murphy had gone into full cardiac arrest upon their arrival and immediately administered CPR at the scene and continued to try and revive Brittany in the ambulance.

After Sigourney Weaverdropped hints about the new Ghostbusters sequel earlier this week, Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman has pitched in his two cents!
The working title for the sequel is G3, and Reitman says the film should be released at some point in 2010 (we're assuming later than earlier).

Our trip to Beijing has come to an end and we are on our way to Shanghai now, but we made the most of our stay in the home of the last Olympics.
On Sunday, we took a tour of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. We walked around a lot and took the subway over to the Olympic Park area, where the former Olympic Stadium is now converted into a Winter Wonderland.
If you could get a medal for innertubing, we would have totally taken home the gold!
We samples some yummy local cuisine and we even caught a spectacular acrobatics show. It was nice to see there's a place for Chinese gymnasts after their no longer teenagers!
We're loving our time in China!
