Read more on Beanie Sigel’s car wreck below. Rapper Beanie Sigel is recovering being involved in a serious car accident on Saturday. Beanie reportedly suffered injuries to his face, arms and legs. A source said, “Sigel was apparently leaving a studio in B-more (Baltimore, Maryland) when a tractor trailer side swiped the vehicle he was travelling in. The car was totalled and Beans sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs. Pete Doherty Arrested For Drug Possession After Leaving Court December 21, 2009 at 4:02 pm “Babyshambles” singer Pete Doherty was arrested for drug possession just after leaving a court hearing in Gloucester. Read more on Doherty’s latest arrest below. The singer had just left a court hearing and was escorted from court to a local police station by officers on suspicion of drug  possession. A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed: “A 30-year-old Wiltshire man has been arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance. He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.” Pete Doherty had earlier pleaded guilty to drunk driving charges and received a fine as well as a driving ban, although he had already been banned previously from driving after not renewing his license. No word yet on exactly what type of drugs Doherty had on him when arrested. Carrie Underwood Engaged To Hockey Player Mike Fisher! It looks as if Carrie Underwood received her Christmas gift a bit early! The country singer accepted the proposal of Mike Fisher. “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier,” her publicist stated. Carrie Underwood, 29, and Mike Fisher, 26, started dating over a year ago after being set up by friends after her concert in Toronto. Carrie recently put a tribute to Mike in the liner notes for her latest disc, Play On, writing, “You are the most amazing addition to my life. I thank God for you every day…xoxo Carrie.” The Ottawa Sun said Mike Fisher confirmed the engagement news during a press conference Monday. Just weeks before Murphy’s sudden death Dec. 20 at age 32, her very thin frame had people talking at the Tt Collection Pop-up Party in Los Angeles. It brought back talk of a possible eating disorder and rumored drug abuse. Murphy denied any drug use and told Jane Magazine: “I have never tried it in my entire life,” she insisted to Jane magazine. “I’ve never even seen it … It couldn’t be further from the truth.” And that same year during her promotion for Sin City, she spoke on rumors of an eating disorder. “I’m the same size I was in Clueless; it’s just that the weight in your face changes as you grow and get older,” she said. “This is my body. I’m proud of it … I’m healthy.” But her friends reveal a darker side and Brittany’s obsession with being perfect. “She had insane self-image issues,” one says. “Her weight, her hair, her clothes, her skin, her teeth, everything. She was always so self-conscious.” Adds another: “A lot of her problems were due to poor self image. She wore extraordinary amounts of makeup, tons of fake eyelashes, got her teeth capped, dyed her hair blonde, lost weight – she wanted to be a beauty. She didn’t want to be the fat girl from Clueless. She didn’t eat a lot. She would drink copious amounts of coffee.” Her friends say Brittany and her mother Sharon were “intensely close.” “She and her mom lived together for years. Everyone thought it was a bit odd, but her mom was her soulmate, her guardian, her best friend. They loved each other so much, despite their differences sometimes. Her mom was her angel.” “We’re extremely close, extraordinarily close,” Murphy told People magazine about her mom Sharon, who survived breast cancer.  “To say ‘best friends’ would be to diminish our relationship.” But Brittany’s own mother felt the pressure for her daughter to look like a star. “She was obsessed with her looking slim,” says the source. “She’d say, ‘I don’t like that wardrobe on her.’ “ In 2007 Murphy married British screenwriter Simon Monjack in a small Jewish ceremony at their Los Angeles home after dating only four months. Tabloids reported Monjack was a “shady” businessman with enormous debts and that he and Murphy had married quickly to help him avoid deportation because of his expired visa. But both Monjack and Murphy denied the claims saying the reports were, “preposterous lies. Everything was just so fabricated and hurtful.” But Simon Monjack and Brittany seemed very happy together. And at an event in December, Murphy spoke of wanting her first child this year. But friends weren’t quite so sure about Monjack. “Not many around her were fans of [Monjack],” says a source. “She wanted to find someone to share her heart with so badly. They thought it was all a bit forced, but you couldn’t help but see her joy and devotion. She really wanted it to work.” Sources report that Brittany seemed “off” while on the set working. “She was unfocused and never knew her lines,” says a source. “She wouldn’t do the same take, the same way, twice … There were accusations of drug use. She and her mom said they weren’t true. Brittany said ‘Everyone was saying I’m doing drugs and I’m not.’ “ An insider on the set of her indie thriller “Something Wicked” said Murphy “was barely there … She’d go in and out of consciousness in the middle of takes.” Brittany was replaced by other actresses for two roles recently which included Disney’s animated Tinkerbell film and the thriller “The Caller”. Friends and family are struggling with Brittany’s sudden death. “She had big dreams,” says one source. But “she always wanted to be something she wasn’t. The Los Angeles Police Department has completed their investigation in Murphy’s death and have found no foul play in the actress’ death. They are not waiting for the autopsy results from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. Amy Winehouse went to see her friend Anthony Kavanagh play the Prince in Cinderella at Milton Keynes and apparently put on quite the show herself! Eyewitnesses at the play said that Amy Winehouse heckled the cast of the play and then attacked the manager of the theater, pulled his hair and kicked him in the groin. They said Amy also kept yelling out: "He's f**king behind you!" every few minutes. She then stood up and walked around the theater, and cursed at people who complained she was blocking their view. Not only that…she called the Ugly Sisters “bitches” and made a few children cry. A source told Britain's Sun newspaper: "She was like a demonic child. Amy was so out of it that she told the star of the show,  Anthea Turner, 'I love you, ' It got worse because Amy had a cut on her wrist and bled all over Anthea." Amy Winehouse had been improving and had been working out and even got herself new lips and boobies. Will she ever get her shiz straight? Details On Actress Brittany Murphy's Death December 21, 2009 at 12:19 am New details have been released on the sudden death of actress Brittany Murphy and her husband, Simon Monjack’s, reaction to his wife’s tragic death and his opposition to an autopsy. Read more on this story below. Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was seen pacing back and forth in front of their house after returning from the hospital where his wife was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. Monjack was viewed by witnesses at the scene crying and screaming while on the phone that afternoon with a bodyguard, family, and the county coroner at his home. Sharon, Brittany's mother, who discovered her daughter unconscious and called 911, stayed at the hospital until later in the afternoon. Neighbors saw Brittany being wheeled out to the ambulance on a stretcher. Claire Staples, who lives near Simon and Brittany stated, "It was obvious she was already gone by the time they brought her down from the house." The paramedics were giving Murphy CPR by, "sticking tubes down her throat," but Staples said that Brittany already, "looked yellow." As paramedics attempted to revive Brittany, a very shaken Simon Monjack was still in his pajamas and stayed away from the body. Simon Monjack told hospital staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that he didn’t’ want an autopsy performed on Brittany. It makes you wonder just what Monjack doesn’t want discovered? But although Monjack doesn’t want the autopsy, the Los Angeles Country Coroner’s office will be performing the autopsy and conducting an investigation. Brittany’s mother told paramedics that her daughter was diabetic, so it could be what contributed to Murphy’s death.  Other media sources have suggested an eating disorder and alleged cocaine use. Ed Winter from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office stated that foul play is not suspected. There were prescription medications found in the home, but the coroner did not give any details. There will be a toxicology report but results may take six weeks or more. Update:  TMZ has reported that Brittany was very sick in the hours before her death. She had been taking prescription medications for flu symptoms she had for several days. Murphy started vomiting early Sunday morning.
