Tiger Woods, the most famous golfer in the world and the first athlete billionaire, had what looked like a pristine personal life throughout his career. A relatively minor car accident at around 2 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving this year cracked open the details of what was apparently a sordid secret situation. Details of the crash emerged and changed quickly; whether or not Elin Nordegren saved him with one of his golf clubs, it was clear that a domestic dispute had gone very wrong. As the news spread about Tiger's accident, everyone learned of the National Enquirer headline that he was cheating on his wife. Within days, one mistress became 10 as many women came forward with stories about their lengthy and multiyear-long relationships with the golfer. Tiger was rumored to be offering Elin a revised version of their prenup so she would stick around for two more years.
Over the past few weeks, Tiger released a series of statements via his website apologizing for his many "transgressions" and ultimately announcing that he will be taking a break from professional golf to "focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person." There were also stories that Tiger was taking many prescription drugs, which may have affected his state on the night of the accident - and apparently affected his affairs, as one woman said Tiger loves "Ambien sex." His many mistresses love the spotlight and have been everywhere from the talk shows to red carpets spilling tons of details about their romantic and sexual relationships with Tiger.

There are rumors that she is still thinking about staying with Tiger but has hired a divorce lawyer and recently purchased land and a home in her native Sweden. Tiger has been dropped from many of his endorsement deals, but not Nike, which is sticking by its main golfer. Pressly commented on camera about how they used to be close until Murphy married Simon Monjack back in 2005. Zac Efron headed to Colorado over the weekend to enjoy the 2009 USPA World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen. While in town he met some fans and posed for photos with a few adorable four-legged friends. He watched the tournament from the crowd Saturday, and on Sunday he hit the slopes for his own wintry activities. Zac also squeezed in a morning run looking pretty swoon-worthy the whole time - we certainly do love what all that fitness does for his physique and are always suckers for dog lovers. Absent from Zac's company over the weekend was Vanessa Hudgens, although the pair spent lots of time together last week celebrating her 21st birthday.

Michelle Williams and Matilda escaped the big snowstorm in NYC this weekend and instead were spotted in Hawaii enjoying a much more tropical climate. The girls' perfectly timed getaway meant bathing suits and sunshine instead of snow boots and warm coats. Michelle tried out stand up paddle surfing in her cute bikini. This upcoming award season will be a quiet one for Michelle since Shutter Island was pushed to next year, but she is supposedly mulling a possible turn playing Marilyn Monroe, which could mean another busy red carpet schedule. For now, however, it's all about relaxation with her number one girl, Matilda.
Ashton Kutcher made a late night outing on Friday to pay a visit to Maxfield in LA. He was on the go again on Saturday for a book signing event, but yesterday brought him the sad news that his ex-girlfriend Brittany Murphy had passed away at the age of 32. Amid word that Brittany's husband Simon Monjack doesn't want an autopsy, Ashton took to Twitter to express his condolences to her family and say that the world has "lost a little piece of sunshine." As details unfold about Brittany's death, the LAPD coroner doesn't suspect foul play - however, Brittany apparently suffered from diabetes and was found in the shower after being quite ill.
Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck spent their Saturday running errands together in LA. After another long week of school the girls let off some steam by shopping and hitting the grocery store, where Violet hitched a ride on the cart on the way back to their car. The girls stepped out yet again yesterday, when they brought a grown-up friend along for a trip to see a show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The coming few days should bring Violet a few days off from her daily classes so that she can enjoy her first Christmas as a big sister to Seraphina.
Reese Witherspoon brought Ava and Deacon along on Saturday for her latest round of shopping in LA. The trio paid a visit to Jenny Bec's Toy Store in Brentwood, where they picked up a few holiday goodies. Ava and Deacon patiently waited and even shared a sweet hug as Reese was rung up at the counter. Later in the afternoon Reese didn't bring the little ones when she joined friends for a coffee. She was also out solo on Friday to run errands, first making a stop at her gym before moving onto the bank. Reese has been hard at work lately working down her present list when she isn't focusing on her fitness, as she gears up for her Christmas celebrations without Jake Gyllenhaal this year.
