About.com Celebrity Gossip Actress Brittany Murphy Dead at 32 of Cardiac Arrest December 20, 2009 at 10:41 am TMZ is reporting that actress Brittany Murphy is dead at the young age of 32. She was found unconscious by her mother in the home Brittany shared with her husband Simon Monjack. She went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday morning and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Sadly, doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Permalink | Comment | Email this Beyonce's Parents Tina and Matthew Knowles to Divorce December 20, 2009 at 9:16 am Singers Beyonce and Solange Knowles' parents are headed for divorce after nearly 30 years of marriage, according to reports from AP News. Apparently it was Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, who decided to file the paperwork to cut off marital ties to Matthew Knowles. In a statement to the press, Tina and Matthew said: "The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter." Is this timing mere coincidence or could it possibly have something to do with the scandalous post from TMZ regarding a woman named Alexsandra Wright? While she insists that Matthew is the father of her unborn child, we won't know for sure until the DNA tests are revealed. December 19, 2009 at 7:48 am Singer Amy Winehouse and her on again/off again beau Blake Fielder-Civil recently called it quits by officially signing the divorce papers. We thought the drama was over for good, but we were wrong. In a recent interview with The UK Sun, Blake allegedly said that he and Amy are back together. Wait, it actually gets worse. "Amy and I have talked about getting married again and starting a family. We both definitely want kids," he told the tabloid. I'm not sure which part of that statement disturbs me the most. The fact that they're engaged again just months after getting divorced or the part where he mentions having children with Amy. Somehow I'm reluctant to buy into the idea that these two could ever have anything short of a wildly volatile relationship. That's bad enough, but why drag innocent kids into the mix?
